Role: A unique opportunity has arisen for an efficient Account/Project Manager to join the team.
You will be responsible for the administration and management of accounts/projects that fall under your remit. You will be commercially astute and able to hit deadlines whilst managing a number of projects making sure they are accurate, to the highest quality and to timescale. By liaising between the client and the company’s internal design, artwork, and production teams you will ensure projects are delivered smoothly.
- Responsible for the administration and running of accounts and projects, and for maintaining client relationships as well as building and maintaining strong internal relationships across the company.
- Manage projects (high-level of SKU’s) from initial brief and working closely with the internal Design, Retouching, Artwork and Quality Control teams to facilitate the production of packaging for our clients.
- Analyze, understand, question and challenge client briefs.
- Ensure the accuracy and precision of all work by continuously checking all details against the client brief, brand guidelines and/or style guides.
- Liaise with the Studio Manager, Design and Artwork departments, giving adequate notice for jobs to be scheduled for production.
- Effectively manage the timing and execution of the internal design and artwork process.
- Responsible for ensuring all projects are completed to the highest standard, to deadline and to complete client satisfaction.
- Keep full track of all your live projects and be able to give a full account of the status of each project at any given time.
- Ensuring client needs are being met and executed to the highest standards.
- Communicate with clients professionally, building client relationships to inspire trust and confidence in the Company.
- Promote effective communication through strong and lasting relationships internally, facilitating a meaningful interaction at peer level and between departments that ensures the efficient and smooth running of the business.
- Provide advice and guidance on interpreting and communicating client briefs to team members and often your peers.
- Identify potential difficulties in the print process for each project early and discuss them with the artwork/production department and the printers.
Requirements:
- Experience working within a packaging / branding agency
- A background in packaging design and artwork is essential.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience working at account management or coordinator level within client account services.
- Knowledge of packaging design and artwork is essential.
- Experience managing Global Retail clients is highly advantageous.
- A thorough understanding of internal design agency procedures and standards, client expectations, and the demands for executing a high turnover of artworks for a major retailer (1000s of Sku's per year).
- FMCG packaging experience from conceptual design through all stages of the network process.
- Have experience of dealing with clients with high expectations within a pressured environment delivering to tight deadlines.
- Operate well in an extremely fast-moving environment.
- Be highly precise with exceptional attention to detail.
